Nature vs. Nurture

Sara is all girl.
I think I've always assumed that most gender traits like sugar and spice and everthing nice and slugs and snails and puppy dog tails, etc, are mostly learned behaviors. However, with the exception of putting her in frilly dresses for Sunday church and special occasions, we've don't really go out of our way to do specifically girly things with Sara. I'm sure there are subtle things that we do differently between her and the boys, but by and large, I think we're pretty gender neutral.
So it's come as a great
surprise that Sara has started doing obvious girly things like putting all her
teething rings on her arms like bracelets, carrying buckets and shopping bags
around like purses, and tons of other things that the boys just don't do.
None of this has anything to do with this picture of her wearing her frilly panties on her head like a hat. It's just funny.
